The 8 August will begin a new edition of Tango Buenos Aires Festival and World , the great showcase that tango has at a national and worldwide level, by the number of foreign tourists who visit it. As every year, It will last for two weeks and will end with the two nights of milonguero and acrobatic tango competition at Luna Park.

There will be about two hundred activities in 54 venues, because the meeting strengthens its trend that returns to the origins of the festival, two decades ago, which is to return to the neighborhoods. In fact, Gardel sang here, the show that will command the opening is a tango musical starring Roberto Carnaghi, what does it serve, also, to celebrate 90 years of the Theater 25 of May, main cultural pole of the Villa Urquiza neighborhood, and to put the flagship of the genre, which is the City Tango Orchestra, inside a theatrical piece with unique characteristics.
