Uruguayan singer Nancy Devita received the award Friday.
The award is given in recognition of the effort and dedication of great artists who devote their lives to tango.
At the commemoration in June the anniversary of passing of Carlos Gardel, It takes place in the city of Buenos Aires awards "Thrush", a distinction that is given to tango singers, in recognition of the work force to maintain the typical gender.
The creator, director and producer of the awards "Thrush" is Alicia Diaz, who was duly honored by the "Buenos Aires City Legislature", the creation of this prize and its contribution to the tango.
