Contents of excellence, by Canal Encuentro, Argentine Public Television and Counting

With high technical standards, a series of excellent productions made by the CCK Audiovisual can be seen on the screens of Canal Encuentro, Public Television Argentina and the content platform Tell: the programs La Hora del Tango, In concert. Music at the CCK, Chamamé Universe, exclusive music clips and I think: I exist, the space that brings together philosophically inspired audiovisual productions.

From the 11 of July, to 22, is issued by thePublic Television Argentinathesecond season ofLa Hora del Tango: a magnificent performance with more than three hundred artists representing the best tradition and projection of tango.

In its 2019 edition,La Hora del TangoIt has the artistic direction of Gustavo Mozzi and the conduction of Sandra Mihanovich. further, the stable typical orchestra returns, directed by Pablo Agri, with arrangements by Nicolás Guerschberg, the dance corps of the program, with choreographic direction by Leonardo Cuello, and many guests.

Participating among other great singers Susana Rinaldi, María Graña, Lidia Borda, Elena Roger, Hernán Lucero and Cucuza Castiello; on stage there will be figures like Osvaldo Piro, Julio Pane, Walter Rios, Hugo Rivas and Esteban Morgado. Renowned artists who travel different genres and approach tango like Litto Nebbia, Daniel Melingo, Pedro Aznar, Alejandra Radano and Leo García. I think: I exist is the space that brings together philosophically inspired audiovisual productions, developed at the CCK. Through the CCK channel in Contar, you can see interviews with prominent intellectuals, como Steven Pinker, Timothy Garton Ash, Aldo Brancacci, Nicholas Smith and Livio Rossetti.

You can also follow the poetry in the voice of its creators. The sectionIn verse includes poetic texts in the voice and interpretation of its creators. Among others, you can listen to the notable Uruguayan poet Ida Vitale. Also to Wang Yin, from China, to the Finnish poet Aura Nurmi, the Japanese writer and performer Tendo Taijin, to the Swedish Magnus William-Olson, to Liudmila Quincoses of Cuba, al austríaco Jürgen Berlakovich, to the Slovenian poet Veronika Dintinjana, to Graciela Aráoz, Enrique Solinas and Lorena Huitrón Vázquez.

I think: I exist also includes the seriesPhilosophy fictions, which takes up in audiovisual format some of the activities carried out in the CCK based on the same certainty: the history of thought was being elaborated not only with arid reasonings and rigorous syllogisms; philosophers expressed some of their most persistent ideas in molds that belong to the fictional universe. With idea and interviews from Ivana Costa (that coordinates the contents of the area), thematic series of fictions were organized.

Chamamé Universe

A series of four special programs carried out by CCK Audiovisual together with the Corrientes Institute of Culture.Chamamé Universe, that offers a panoramic view on dance, music and poetry, brings together live music and interviews with key figures of the genre such as Bocha Sheridan, Spiky Bunch, rudi Flares, Antonio Tarragó Ros, The Vera Sisters, Simon Jesus de Palacios, Tilo Escobar, Nacha Roldan, German Bishop, Ernestito Montiel, Luciano and Julieta Obregón, Luis Salinas, Chango Spasiuk, Javier Acevedo, Mario Bofill, Daniel Osuna, Marcelo Gatti, Pedro Rios, Carlos Escobar, Tupá and Carolina Rojas.

Clips

Fifty music videos registered in the beautiful spaces of La Cúpula and the Hall of Honor. The videos show pop musicians such as singer and producer Guille Beresñak in action, the singer and guitarist from Córdoba Martín Rodríguez and the pop group Milhojas, led by keyboardist Gimena Álvarez Cela. They are part of the sectionSongs in the Dome, for which they recorded other figures such as Lara Pedrosa, Eric Mandarina, Darío Jalfin, Everything Appears Normal and Gómez Casa Project.

The series of productions carried out in the Hall of Honor also records the remarkable vitality of Argentine jazz. Alan Zimmerman Threesome, Pablo Raposo Quinteto and Sebastián Loácono Trío perform classics by Thelonious Monk, standards of the years 20 Y 30, and own compositions. The formidable Chet Baker Trio, composed of Mariano Loiácono, Ernesto Jodos and Jerónimo Carmona, recreates the work of the great American trumpeter.

Great figures of classical music also recorded for this section, like the pianists Pierre Blanchard and José Luis Juri; the tenors Juan Pablo Skrt and Sergio Spina with the pianist Juan Pablo Scafidi; Harmony Opus Trio; the pianist Fernanda Morello: the soprano Anahí Scharovsky and the pianist Fernando Albinarrate.

Test – Rock on the rise

Tester – Rock on the rise is a series of specials that compiles the best moments of the concerts that indie music bands and soloists from all over the country gave in the Sala Argentina. 2018. Each program Tester combines live music with interviews conducted by journalist Dany Jiménez with artists. Off stage, musicians and singers reflect on their way of composing, his way in music and everything that inspires his melodies and his lyrics. Barbi Recanati tells about how having a child changed her compositional routines. Simon Poxyran, enfant terrible of the Mendoza scene, recalls his early study of the violin. Tom Quintans, by Beast Baby, tells how the music of the band born in Boedo evolved.
